About once a day, on average, my BB Torch locks up. The only way for me to unfreeze is to remove the battery and reinsert. It does not respond to attempts to power off, etc. Any advice?

Can anyone give advice on how to determine which apps are running on BB Torch at a given time? Also, once I determine what is running, is there a way to stop apps? Is there a universal purge, etc?

1. Check the Options > Device > Application Management > Swipe left to CPU and see what application(s) are consuming your CPU cycles, and you will likely determine which app is freezing your device.

2. You have your mobile phone number listed as your "My Mobile Provider" or carrier. Putting your phone number out on the internet on these public forums for the world to see, is not wise. To change that, at the top of this page click on My Settings > Personal Profile > Personal Information, and in the entry block for "Carrier" type the name of your mobile provider.

Thx. That helps a lot. Nothing seems to be hogging CPU right now. I will monitor to see if I can find any patterns. I do see a lot of apps that I didn't expect to be running. There is no option to stop them, only a delete option. Does that mean to literally delete the app or just the session?
