My BB keeps saying the radio is off what is that?? and how do i keep it on?

Your radio = the mobile network connection.

 

Go to your Manage Connections screen and the first item at the top should the mobile network... your connection to your mobile network provider.

ok, that makes sense, if the device is telling your the "radio is off".

 

So, click on it the check box there to turn it on. You DO have a SIM card in this device, don't you?
