Hi,

I have a BB torch 9860 that the LCD screen if cracked on , I am struggling to find out which type of LCD i need. Could anyone tell me how to find out which type of LCD I currently have so i can get the same one as a replacement ?

Are you seeing more than one LCD for that model? I've looked it up on a few sites and only see one listed for the 9850/9860.

Amost every site has it listed as 002/111 LCDs but there is one or two sites with them listed as 001 LCDs, unless the 001 LCD is just misslabeled on those sites ?

I would just purchase one from a reputable site.

One thing to note...they look quite expensive. Be sure you know what you're doing and that the display is, in fact, the problem. $100 is a big investment in a used device.

Wow my storm2 glass and digitizer was like $46 on Amazon with the tools.

Thanks for all  the help, upon opening the phone , it turned out that the LCD was fine and it was the digitizer that was cracked, i have a replacement coming now Ill keep you posted on the results

That's usually what breaks from a drop or other damage. LCD problems are rare...that's why I said be sure you know before you order.
