I'm trying to set up an additional e-mail address, but when I try to access the set up menu, the BB tells me my user name is not valid, and must be at least 4 characters long. The user name I have on record is my gmail address which is much more than 4 characters. How do I proceed to access the set up menu?

See if you can do it by typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in your phone's browser.

I had the same problem trying to enter my user name in setting up a new email account.

Going to www.blackberry.com/integrate and entering my new address there worked. Thanks.

I still don't know what my user name is, but that's not an issue now...
