yes I also have the same problem. At first it was telling me after a long while of waiting for it to associate my BB ID, that there was a temporary error. But now its just stuck on Associating my BB ID. It has been stuck there for 10 hours now. I uninstalled BBM and then reinstalled it, and still having the problem.
How to fix this problem if anyone knows????

I've figured out how to delete it now. If anybody wants to know...
The only way to do so is to go into your Options icon, then Device>Application Management. Scroll to BlackBerry Messenger, select it, then press the Delete button.
Your device will require a reboot, but that should definitely uninstall it.
