BBM

Good day.

I recently upgrade bbm to version 6.1.0.70 and it is randomly sending out broadcast messages - it did it once when it rebooted after the upgrade and again this morning - but this mornig's rebroadcast was not tied to a restart or a reboot.

Is anyone aware of a solution or a method of rolling back the upgrade?

Re: BBM

It appears to be hit and miss - several of my contacts are having the same issue but a lot of people upgraded with no issue.

And of course, RIM makes it impossible to get any actual support to deal with the issue.

RIM offers tons of support in the form of your carrier.  You call them, they fix the problem and everyone's happy.  Or, you call them, they can't fix the problem, you ask to have it escalated directly to RIM at no cost to you, RIM fixes the problem and everyone's happy.  Or, you post it here, someone other than me (who doesn't have the solution this time) answers the post which fixes the problem and everyone's happy yet again.

I hope that clears things up for you.  :smileyhappy:
