BBM v 18.104.22.168
been having the voice note issues since i upgraded to the torch 9810 from my bold 9700
i can recieve voice notes but must close bbm to listen to them,, and when i goto record a voice note ,i can not stop it from recording, and it will not send...
and i think it may also be causeing the issues with my voice chat on bbm...
my gf has the exact same phone, but it works for her,,,i mean, the voice notes works,,we tried the voice chat today,,and we can connect, but cant hear each other
what can i do to fix this

strange. Have you tried a battery pull? If so, what about uninstalling and reinstalling BBM7?

i have had to pull my batery several times, in the past, and this did not fix V notes issue. and i have reinstalled 3 times already, and it auto reboots when installation is complete

Gotcha. Good troubleshooting. I think its time to visit the bell store so they can check out the phone. I can't explain why its not working right after what you've done. You've covered the software aspects... could be some odd hardware issue now.

yeah thanks i was sorta leaning that way too, ive done support for several computer companies in the past. the only thing i havnt done was a complete wipe..and reinstall of the OS and apps..(format and recover) kinda hesitatnt cus im not sure what ill loose by doing so ..guess ill just back it all up

hey I ended up doing a complete wipe,,,and reinstall ... this seems to have helped with the voice chat..it now works..not sure about the sending of voice messages yet... but at least this now works ..thx for the help
