Hi! I tried installing a new software update on my blackberry torch few hours ago but it only went and stayed on one screen  showing " backing up data.... 12% progress" up to 3 hours now? I can't even use my phone at all at this time. It seems frozen. I tried taking off the battery but no result.


Any advice? Pls help.

You'll have to get the OS loaded back to your phone.  Plug your phone in to your PC again and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  The software will recognize that you don't have a full OS on your phone and it will suggest loading it.  Confirm that you wish to load it and proceed.
