BlackBerry Torch 9800

Help!! Does anyone know what the following error messages mean? My phone just started giving me an error 71>=71 and after that im getting App Error 603 and my phone turns to a white screen then just shuts off totally. I have try to reformat the programs but half way through the process my phone says it cannot find a connection to my CPU but it does recognize it at the beginning.  I was told by Roger's that my phone needs to be sent in for repair but they dont have a loaner to give me in the mean time.  Does anyone know how to fix this issue or am i sol?

Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800

Please read this:  Article ID: KB23951 "Error 603", "App Error 603", or "JVM 603" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

You should also ask Rogers to ESCALATE this issue RIM's Tier Two level tech support.

Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800

No, I am not familiar with that 71>=71 error. Check the Knowledge Base here, nothing appears.

That's why escalating this to RIM would be wise, they might know something without sending it off.

Rogers may not want to escalate the issue, but push them. You're paying Rogers for this support and escalation.

Otherwise, I know what will fix the 603 error. Wiping and reloading the device.

You can do that yourself with a PC, and a few hours. Let me know if you want to do so.

Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800

Sure, im willing to try anything at this point.  I was trying someone when i was talking to Roger's but half way through the program sent me an error message that my blackberry wasnt plugged into my CPU when it was.

Re: BlackBerry Torch 9800

Try that again, connect your BlackBerry to a different main rear USB port on the PC.
