I've switched from the Blackberry 8520 To 9300, is there a way I can backup my contacts from 8520 and transfer them to 9300?

Will it appear two profile BB on peoples BBM?

If you follow the entire process, your BBM contacts, and BBM settings will be transferred and you won't need to do anything. Your contacts won't need to know you have a new PIN, your contact will be updated in the BBM contact list with your new PIN.

Your thinking this through a lot more than is needed.

I've transfered my contacts from my Blackberry 8520 to 9800, I'm using the same name and profile as my 8520 on my 9800, if someone searches my name on BBM, will it appear twice with my 8520 and 9800 pin or just the 9800 pin?

When you performed the Switch Device Wizard, that process would have transferred your BBM profile, etc., as well, and pushed the new 9800 PIN to your BBM friends.
