......I have A Blackberry Torch 9800....OS 6...And It's Not picking Up my Wireless Router....When I turn The Wifi On, The Grey dark Symbol Just Comes On But When I try To Search For Any Routers It Doesn't Detect Any...I've tried Connecting It Manually But It Says "Failed To Connect To The Internet"....If I Stand near Beside The Router It Connects But The Signal Is Very Weak...I Have To Literally Be Standing Right Next To The Router Or Else My Torch Won't Pick It Up...This Started Happening Couple Days Ago But Before That It Had No problem Connecting...I've tried EVERYTHING!....How can I Please Fix This Problem?.....Do I Just Have A Bad Signal?......If So, Why Did It Just Started All Of A Sudden Cause It used To Work Flawless Before That?.........

The icon not being bright white indicates you are not connecting to the RIM BlackBerry network.
I really don't have an answer for the slow throughput and apparent low signal strength, but one idea. When you reloaded the OS you probably automatically backed up and restored the BlackBerry. Try deleting the saved profile and doing a hard reset and then creating the profile again. I admit this is a stab in the dark. Given it had been working ok I expected rebooting the router would have fixed it.
