Re: Blackberry id

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Sadly, there are hundreds of possibilities...some details from you will help greatly to narrow them down. For example, what exact steps do you attempt? What are the exact results of each step? Are there any error messages? If so, the exact and complete content of those would help quite a bit to diagnose your situation. But, from "unable to log in" and "ID doesn't work", there is just too little detail to allow for any reasonable diagnosis.

Thanks and let us know!

Re: Blackberry id - torch 9810

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB28212 "Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account" or "Unable to update your BlackBerry ID account information" error occurs on a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 7

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

Good luck and let us know!

Re: Blackberry id - torch 9810

You may have no choice, depending on the outcome. Please review the link in my auto-sig on this post for recommended backup procedures...with those, you should be able to recover/restore just fine if indeed a full wipe is required.

Please try, from the BB ID website using a PC/browser, to log into your BB ID account...you need to verify that you are using the proper credentials on your BB.

Also, does this reveal anything:

  • KB28684 How to confirm a BlackBerry ID username
