On my Torch 9850 there are like home page,all page,download page,frequent page. But instead of page they are called panels. On the home page you click the BB menu button and tik the heading download panel. Save and go there. Then you put the center button over the app,don't click it,just open the menu again and select (make favorite). That puts that app on your home page (panel).

One more. On your home page at the top right under the time there should be a search bar for finding apps on your phone. Type in there app world and right below that it should open up some icons and web sites. If it does try clicking the Icon for App World and see if it opens?

Didn't work....

I can see it under options-applications, but I can't get into it.

Maybe I can delete it and try to download it again?

Also:  You have your mobile phone number listed as your "My Mobile Provider" or carrier. Putting your phone number out on the internet on these public forums for the world to see, is not wise. To change that, at the top of this page click on My Settings > Personal Profile > Personal Information, and in the entry block for "Carrier" type the name of your mobile provider.
