CRTranRec::GetLinkedRecordId : Invalid Linked record Id -

Hi,

 

I am trying to sync to my windows desktop using the Blackberry Desktop software version 7.1.0.32 and when syncing contacts with Microsoft Outlook this message pop up. my blackberry software is currently version 6.0 bundle 862. aall my calendar, memos and tasks have successfully backed up. only when syncing my contact lists to outlook is a problem.

 

please help to let me know what to do next?

Look at this Article from RIM's Knowledge Base regarding this error and see if that help :

 

KB31008 : Error "CRTranRec : : GetLinkedRecordld : Invalid linked record Id " is displayed when synchronizing with the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Thank you for your posting. I shall try tomorrow. However i have over one thousand contact. Is there a shorcut to search for the problem ones or ishould just save all contacts with pictures with a new image?

                            I can understand your concern,What this workaround suggested is not an easy task where you have  to go and search each contacts from over a 1000 contacts.I can't figure any shortcut for this search.To assist you look at those thread and see if that helps. CRTranRec::GetLinkedRecordld   or  Sync Error or you can search within this Forums for thread related to this error which might help you.

I'm facing the same issue. Have been looking for a solution all day. I have over 5000 contacts
