Camera quality

Alright, so I have the torch 9800, and since last month, when I snap a picture, it automatically sharpens, which affects the quality of the picture itself. I never had that problem before, and when I went to see if I troubled a setting or something, I noticed there is no quality setting whatsoever. Before, my pictures had a great quality, but now all of them appear to be super sharpened, as if I modified them on photoshop... I would like to know what caused this and how to get my pictures back to normal. Thank you

Re: Camera quality

Hey HeavyAddict,

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

In the camera options if you select Scene Modes is it set too Auto? or are these options missing? If the options are missing I would suggest to do a clean reload of the BlackBerry® device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320, please test the camera before restoring any data to the device.

If this resolves the issue do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)

Thank you.

Re: Camera quality

I will try this, thank you. Though these options are still there!
