Camera

My Camera stopped working. I try to take pictures and the flash works but it doesn't capture a photo.

I've tried turning the phone off and back on. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Camera

Turning a BlackBerry on and off does very little other than to see a black screen :smileyhappy:

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner:

With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

Re: Camera

Sounds like faulty hardware.

Ask "ma mum" if it worked for her ok?

Re: Camera

I am trying help.

So, the camera never worked for your mom?

And now you want it to work?

I just want to make sure I understand what you're asking.

Re: Camera

Yes it never worked for her because she bought it from a former user and I tried wiping it but still no difference

Re: Camera

Then you could try wiping AND reloading the operating system to the device.

Do you need help with this?

It may not work, still sounds like a hardware issue.
