Can not Shut off Wireless Sync on the Torch.

Can not shut off the Wireless Sync on the Torch for Contacts or Address book.   Want to Sync Microsoft Vista 7 - Outlook data with the torch but can not shut off the Wireless on the Torch by function.   Tried everything!   Anybody got any ideas?

Enable and disable wireless organizer data synchronization
