Hello everyone,

I have a problem concerning my blackberry torch9800. My daughter updated the phone and then this problem occured. I can send 2 3 words with no problem but when I write something longer, 1 2 sentences, and then I press send and the messeage just disappears without being sent. I looked through the internet and found a few people who had the same problem as I do, but none of them have come up with a solution. I am considered to be new using BlackBerry, so I don't really know so much about the phone. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

Go to your messages folder.

Press the Menu key > View Folder

scroll to SMS Outbox.

Do you see your missing outgoing SMS messages there?

I guess they are not there, but to be sure I just texted another long sms and checked the SMS Outbox and it was not there, though Im not sure if it needs time to be recorded there but I will let you now if I see it...

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

I did what you said but still the problem continues. I took off the battery while it was on, and then took it on again and still cannot send my messages, they still disappear
