Hi,

I'm on BIS and need to sync offline with my outlook. I know that I need to disable 'wireless synchronization'. Searched few post and they suggested to look at the option under either - calendar, task or memo. Strangely I can't find it in any of those.

I tried the universal search - no joy. The closest is the keyword in the help file.

Any thoughts? hidden things I'm not aware off?

If you are referring to the email synchronization, go into your Messages folder, and look for Email Reconciliation. 

KB05133 will show you the features of the email reconciliation for the BlackBerry smartphone.

In Manage Connect ions there is a check box you can just uncheck which will take you off wi-fi completely.  (scroll over it and push the scroll button) To be sure you can confirm by looking at Servic Status on the same page
