Charging and Memory card issues

I have a blackberry Torch 9860 it will not charge unless just so, the connection has loosened.  I have had many BB's this has never been an issue.  Anyone know how can I fix this?  Or where?  Also I have a Media Card issue, I have 8 Megs but it has been corrupted, now its asking to reformat, should I?  I have had so many problems with this phone after a year.  It's going to cost me to replace it, just not sure to go with a BB again....

If you remain in warranty, you would seek help from your warranty service provider. If you are out of warranty, then you should seek a local (to you) shop with a qualified hardware technician.

If the card is unusable in the device, then reformatting would actually be required to try and recover, would it not? Keep in mind also that the card itself may be the problem...not the BB. To test, you of course must find a "known good" media card (e.g., one that is working fine in an identical BB and having no problems) and try it in your BB. Also try your card in that other BB. The results will help you understand if it's your card or your BB that is actually the root of this particular problem.

Good luck!
