Just did the new update and now when I go to my Inbox I was able to "Delete Prior" using the soft Keys. Now the only way that I can delete a bunch of prior e-mails I have to use the Menu Hard Key and hit delete Prior. Is there something I am missing here?

this is part of an update, It was also way to easy to delete items as it happened to many people that were accidentally deleting items while device was in a pocket

There is a way to delete prior using soft keys
Tap the list heading then tap 'options' in the dialogue box that comes up
You will then see delete prior in the list that appears
I just did the update and this is how I have been doing my deletes and it works fine.
Hope this helps!

sorry, my bad, after tapping the list heading, tap 'full menu' to get the list in which
delete prior appears.

So we went from easily being able to manage and maintain our inbox, with TWO soft clicks, now I have to make it THREE softclicks (one w/in a menu) because some people dont know how to lock their device?
This is rediculous, at least make this a togglable option "Display 'mark prior unread'"/"Display 'delete prior'" within the options. One main selling point for OS6 was usability, hard coding this kinda thing is stupid.

send your idea to bbsuggestions@rim.net
While not everyone will like the default setting either way, your idea at least gives them a choice.
