Email Re-Verification

I have 4 emails "Pushing" to my Blackberry.  I received a message on my Blackberry saying that I had to validate my password for one of the emails.  It says I can do this by going to setup and click on the emails settings.  When I do this it asks for my BB Username and password.  When I put these in it says that my password must be at least 4 characters (it's actually 10).  I am able to log into the BB site on my computer with the same password and user name. 

 

This is the first time when asking to re-verify and email password that it has asked me to login using my BB username and password.

 

Any thoughts?

Try this route, you might not have to login to your BIS account:

 

 using your BlackBerry browser...

• Go to mobile.blackberry.com OR to www.blackberry.com/integrate
• Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
• Choose the appropriate email set up options.

Call AT&T and ask. If you know the username, they can reset the password for you.

Thanks again.  I was at the AT&T store Sat and they told me that the BB immediate and passwords are Immediate Blackberry and they don't have access or control over them.  I have tried to contact BB but they are well protected so as not to allow you to ever talk to a live human.

 

Thanks again for your help though.  You solved my immediate problem!

Sorry spell check got me.  They told me the they didn't have any access to the Blackberry User Names or Passwords and that I would have to contact BB directly to get help with those.

OK, then your AT&T person is just being lazy. They know ONLY they can escalate this issue to RIM for resolution.

Them telling you to contact "BB directly" is just being lazy. Call ATT and tell them you need to this issue resolved and if they must, please escalate the issue to RIM Tier Two level support.
