I had the same problem with T-Mobile and in language german.
First I found only the KB26055 but I was not able find the domain for http://<DOMAIN>/rest/EmailClient/
With this thread I was able to combine the URL to a working one:
Maybe http://tmobilede.blackberry.com/rest/EmailClient/ is working to get always the latest version.

Great KB :-)
The URL works without the last slash http://tmobilede.blackberry.com/rest/EmailClient or http://vodafr.blackberry.com/rest/EmailClient or http://orangefr.blackberry.com/rest/EmailClient or http://tmobileuk.blackberry.com/rest/EmailClient
There is another article about the email setup application http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB26398 instead of reinstalling the device software you just need to install again the email setup application with http://tmobilede.blackberry.com/rest/EmailClient
All this mess will be gone when the device software will be updated.

My problem is not solved yet. I need to confirm a new email account in the BB that I have created over the net in BIS but it asks me to update the software and after I tried a few times folowing some steps I have heard and have my BB blocked I do not want to download any update. I am just waiting for a new update without bugs!!! Lets see how long will take RIM to see this error........

Did you update over wifi without the sim card?
The last solution I see is to download every cod files and put those in the loader files directory beforce reloading the OS with the updated files. I'm testing this right now on my 9780.

Following my previous post I've uploaded two files on my website. Those files are meant to update an already installed BlackBerry Devices Software to reload the OS with the updated Email Setup Application.
First copy the updated files in the right place:
<DeviceUpdateFolder> has to be changed to the OS version you have downloaded. For v448 this should be "9800AllLang_v188.8.131.528_P184.108.40.206". Anyway just locate de "Loader Files" folder and you should have only one folder inside and this is should be your <DeviceUpdateFolder>.
Then reload your OS:
Disable any radio/connection on your BB
Backup your BB
Remove the battery
Connect your BB to your computer
Start to reload the OS
Put back the battery once the "Load JVM and system software" step is done and without disconnecting the BB
Let the reload finish
At this stage you have a reloaded OS with updated Email Setup Application
Now you can restore your BB from your previous backup and then activate the radio
I hope this help.
