I have currently updated my backberry torch 9800 and so it reset everything on my phone,

I have managed to get everything back to normal accept my emails

when I go on my setup and to my email tab it asks me to put in my username and password, but this cannot mean my email address as everytime i do this it tells me that im wrong and that it has to more than 4 characters even though it does. and everytime i put a different username in or password it just tells me its wrong.

i really dont understand and the customer service team at my network provider also dont understand,

dont suppose anyone can help ?

Many Thanks.

Hey elb098,

Try resending your service books:

Goto your BIS Site and you will have an option to resend service books. If that doesn't works goto your Options, and type Host, which will bring you to your Host Routing Table. Click the Blackberry button to bring up the menu and click on register.

Hope this helps,

I'm assuming you mean it could not be activated. You need to ask your mobile operator why it could not be activated. Perhaps the PIN is still registered on the original network?
