Email setup issues

hello, i have a problem with seting up my email. when i go to setup>Email accounts, it says 'checking for updates then connecting to email settings' from there it says 'your device is not registered' even though im connected to the BIS network. is it my OS which im using which is 7.1.0.755?

Currently are you able to use any other BlackBerry Services like BBM ? To register your device : 

  • On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options, or click Settings > Options
  • For BlackBerry Device Software 6.0 to 7.1, Device > Advanced System Settings > Host Routing Table
  • Press the Menu key and click Register Now
  • Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.

 

When it is done go to set  email setup , if problem remains then call your carrier and make sure that your BIS has been properly configured
