Emails "Received Using: Unknown"

After deleting and setting up an email account again, my blackberry 9850 is now receiving two of each email to that account. One is marked received using the correct address, the other with "Received using: unknown." I cannot reply to the emails received as unknown. I have tried deleting service books, re-installing the email account, etc. the accounts page only shows two email addresses, as there should be, but I continue to get these duplicates with one received: unknown. Some more information. I set up the account originally in the US but am now in the UK. Not sure if I thats material or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Emails "Received Using: Unknown"

Go to your Settings > Device > Advanced > Default and make sure your default email account is entered and saved.

Does that help?

Re: Emails "Received Using: Unknown"

I wonder if it is some roaming issue, I've never experienced it while roaming. You could wait and see if it persists when you return home.

Otherwise, I'd suggest a wipe and reload of the accounts, but certainly not while your out of the country.

Re: Emails "Received Using: Unknown"

How do I go about wiping the accouunts?

Also, I'm unclear how I can be getting messages from an unknown source. If there's no service book it corresponds with, then where does the unknown account exist on the phone?

Re: Emails "Received Using: Unknown"

My question was just about the technical side. I'm no expert but if this is a problem that others have hade, I'm curious how the "corruption" happened. Yes, still travelling and will be for some time. Is it possible to set up a filter on the "received using" field? It's not one of the given options but I'm wondering if there's a workaround or some other way to filter these messages.

Re: Emails "Received Using: Unknown"

In your Hub, are both the known and unknown emails coming in under the very same tab in the hub?
