My Escape and Return function keys suddenly stopped working. Tried battery reboot but no change. I can still navigate by using onboard screen  functions. Everything else eem to be working properly. Any solutions.

I would suggest backing up and doing a clean reload of the BlackBerry® device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320. Please test before restoring any data to the device.

If this resolves the issue do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)

I meant "menu"and "return" keys. Can you help?

Try the link without the period at the end of it. 

But I am having the same issue with the menu and back buttons on my phone too.   It's intermittent but when it works, it works fine and when it doesn't work, it doesn't work at all. 

It's NOT as though it's sticky keys where if you keep pressing it, eventually they work, so I don't think it's mechanical.

I'm going to try this reset thing, but I've seen other similar threads but people still had the same issue, so I won't hold my breath.
