Doing a security wipe removes all data from the phone. It's recommended everytime you switch to a new phone.
From your homescreen go to Options>Device>Security>Security Wipe and follow the instructions.

Probably best to take your phone into your nearest phone shop or network provider, though they will probably charge.
Btw, i'd take off ur phone no. where it says 'my carrier'. You can access it in the 'my settings' section.
