There isn't a built-in method. Try the free version of Mobile Minutes Tracker from BB App World. Its ad supported, but works well. It will pull down your voice, data and SMS usage from most carriers. Alternatively, PageOnce Personal Assistant works as well, and can track various credit cards etc.
As stated, there is no core application to monitor it. If you don't want to download anything for this purpose, you can also consult your carrier's website.
