Frustrating!!

Hi,

I would like to bring to your attention and yes this has taken me a few months to actually send this report through to you, my battery is getting so hot that I cannot hold my cell phone in my hand! There is now a constant slow go on my phone and it brings up this little sort of "synchronisation"

symbol on my screen whenever I want to send a bbm, send an sms / mms, basically all the time.

This is making it actually impossible to use my phone at times. I do not use my cell phone 24/7 however I  would appreciate it that when I wanted to use it that it would actually work.

I bought my phone on the 15/12/2010, it is a 9800 Torch. The "heating"

battery has been occurring since October 2011 and the unusable stuck symbol started about one month or less now.

What is the reason for this? How can you sell a product that basically doesn't work all the time after 1 year and well 2 months?

This is extremely frustrating as whenever I need to use it I am stuck sitting with a stuck phone that would just not respond. I would like a proper solution to this. There isn't much stored on the phone as music and pictures do not occupy my space so count that out. I do not download new apps on my phone either as the 3 games I have, have been there for as long as I have the phone.

I truly hope you can send me constructive feedback with regard to the issues I have with my "smart" phone.

Please use plain text.

Re: Frustrating!!

Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.

What OS are you on? On your device, type in a new message MYVER and a space after to see and report back please.

On device go to Options, Device, Application Management is a great way to see what your apps are doing with your CPU usage on Smartphone. Just slide top bar to CPU and see what is going on. Also touch the CPU menu to see other time variables. I found out that an app was eating away CPU cycles on mine

Disable Compression on media card? go to Options, Device, Storage

using a custom theme? try it for a day the factory default one to rule out your theme

remember the esc key closes most apps, except for GPS and some chat clients. the other apps need to use menu and then exit or close. The farthest key to the right is a home key and does not close any apps per se but will end calls.
