Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Best!

I also have the same problem. But in my case, the back button and red phone's LED backlight is not working. What to do?
I tried the reboot and pull out of battery but still, nothing happened ![]()

Then next step after a battery pull is to reload the OS to your phone. This can be done using BlackBerry Desktop Software. Click Device at the top of the software then Update.
I hope that helps you. ![]()

I hope this one will work. I feel very sad everytime I use it without lights on it. If I reload the OS of my phone, is there a possibility that my files will be erased and never be restored? Even my BBM contacts and apps?

If you reload your OS, you of course can also backup all of your data...see these:
For added security, you can further manually back up the BBM contacts, to restore from if they do not properly restore via the above:
Good luck!

I can't update my OS because I already have the latest OS version (OS 6.0, Bundle 2647) for my BB Torch 9800. What shoud I do?

okay. I'll try to download an OS from a different carrier. I hope it will work. Sometimes, the LED backlight of my phone is working. But sometimes, it isn't. I'm quite confused about it.
