How to cancel BIS account

Hi to all helpers! I bought a Torch 9800 from O2 last year and am now trying to use it in Turkey during my holiday. The phone works with local simcard, connects to the internet but I can not use apps such as facebook. I contacted to local customer service and was suggested that I need to cancel my BIS account which was registired to O2 initially. I contacted O2 twice and they told me that I need to contact blackberry since they can not log in blackberry system? I have been trying to call blackberry but I do not have a number or contact details.

 

I found this web-site https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=o2mailuk to log in my bis account but I can not remember my password. Since I erased all the content of my phone before putting the local sim card in, I can not receive my password. Please help me to cancel my current BIS account, and register again with my local sim card. I am the owner of phone. Thanks a lot.

Removal of the BlackBerry Internet Service accounts is usually done by place a new SIM card in the BlackBerry smartphone. Can you send me a private message with your PIN number so I can check on this for you.

Hi!
I have a Torch 9800 but i cant regis BIS with that device. I have a Bold 9000 too,when i insert my sim into bold and it's registed.but with the same sim in Torch it cant registed even i sent regiter message hundreds times!

Hello. I have 9800 torch smartphone. I have problems with email. I tried to go to  Setup -Email Accounts
and i had a message : 
    Your device had a problem connecting to the server.

And I tried to do these steps from Support Content  KB00510  and i had message 
    Registration message sent.


Then nothing happens. 


 Please, can you help me?

I do see an email account is added.  Are you trying to add a new email account, or are you not able to send and receive emails?  Please clarify.

Thanks for the reply.

 

I sent your email service books and it was having trouble finding your BlackBerry smartphone.  I would suggest removing the battery and placing it back in, and then let me know if you get an activation email.  Also do you have EDGE or 3G upper case for your signal?

I've removed battery with turned on mobile, nothing has changeded, so i havn't received service books. I have edge ( small letters ) in upper case and sometimes 3G but without blackbarry sign.
