We are going on a cruise in 2 weeks. Originally we were just going to "turn off" the bb's, but have heard that the phone will still receive data and therefore, roaming charges will be assessed. Is this true? Do we need to disable all networks before turning off the phones or remove the battery? Please advise if you have any knowledge of this as we don't want to return to the states and have a huge bill waiting for us
Thanks in advance.

if you do not have roaming enabled, turn off your carrier signal and use wifi only to get emails, BBM etc fro free.

we are going on a true vacation, no phones, no emails, no internet, no phones at all! We are just going to turn them off. Just wanted to make sure that even when off it wouldn't accumulate any charges LOL.
Thanks!

if off, it cant use any data
charge phone and remove the battery for trip and enjoy, then when you come back the battery will be full for use.
