Is Blackberry Torch 9810 out of production?

I wanted to buy Blackberry Torch 9810, but found it to be Out of Stock in quite a few mobile retail outlets in Bangalore, India. Someone informed me that production for Torch 9810 had been stopped and a new model was going to replace that. Is that true?

I see it stil being sold. I dont know if the factory is still making them. We just bought a few more for upgrades.
