Keyboard stopped working

My torch is just two years old and the keyboard and main keys stopped working.  The touch screen still works, but nothing from the keyboard.  I cannot upgrade until April, so I am stuck without a phone.  Anyone have any suggestions.

Have you tried removing the battery from the device?

You can test the hardware of the keyboard by going to Options >type Status in the search bar and go to Device and Status Information. On the screen type the letters T E S T. You can run the diagnostics for the keyboard (and other diagnostics) in order to test and be sure it's not a software issue.
