I'll risk it.

Am I most likely going to have to download multiple updates, and sort of, build up to the 695? Or is it that I am going to just download/install one update?

I am trying to download the update right now, and it's getting like 1-2% done ( .2 MB, out of 18 MB), then for some reason, it automatically navigates backwards to the "Update" app's main screen again, and I have to try the downlod again..?

Ok, it got a little further this time--think I got to like .6 MB-ish. Then it reset again.

Ok so, after about 8 tries, the download got done, but said I'm going to have to get some more battery power before I can actually install the update, so I'm gonna do that when I get home from work.

Thank y'all for the help. I'll probably post again and give an update on how the phone's doing, after I get the update installed and stuff.

..or knowing me, I may be back before then to ask a question about the update process, or something going wrong (because of a USER-ERROR :-P ).

Update: Update worked wonderfully--phone works even better than before.
