if you are talking about .666 update you should choose the second download which is multilanguage, and also it might be that your download wasnt complete because of some error, just download again

Does this install in North American BB Torch 9800?  I currently use Telus as a carrier in Canada?

It should install everywhere. Just don't use your DM for the install, rather use the instructions in the first post.

Yes, just follow the directions given.

Sorry, DM is your desktop mamager. Its used when your carrier has an OS update. If you use the instructions given in the first post, you can load any OS you want. And if you are wondering, it will not affect your warranty.
