I forget my password to open my torch, it went to 10 tries and  got wiped out. I think I have backup the phone either on blackberry server or on my pc. What should I do to get it restored? if I got it restored, do I still have the problem about the password? I might still don;t remember it if it ask for it again.

I honestly haven't faced your specific situation, so I'm not positive if the password configuration will restore when you do the above. If you are uncertain, you can do a selective restore of only the databases that are critical (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.):
