Hi there,

I've had this issue since the Mobile Hotspot option became available. 

After 3 mins. my hotspot automatically disconnects, even though I have set the timer to "Never" expire.  I've tried it on all of the timer settings, and it still d/c's after 3 mins.

Info:

Torch 9860

OS 7

Available memory - 82 MB

Carrier - Telus

Monthly plan - 6 GB

Data used so far this month - 500 MB

Location - occurs at every location

Frequency - occurs 100% of the time

Devices connected - laptop, playbook

Activity - all ranges, i.e., low usage, downloading, constant streaming

Power - battery and plugged into power source

I've had the problem also, disconnecting but after like 5 minutes.

I reset the timer to 20 and it started working.

I know you said you've done that.
