My battery has now began to drain rapidly. do I need a new battery or phone?

My battery and phone are now acting weirdly. My battery drains after five minutes and I'm losing home screen when it tilts on side.   do ineed a new phone or battery or what?

Can you make sure that the GPS location sharing is off and if you have installed any new app they must not be runnin when you don't need them or else checking up on your location every once in a while. this is the main cause for suddens battery drain
