Why is so dificult to update the OS on the Blackberries?

It doesn't matter if I made a full backup before the update, which is supposed to do a backup before, but when it finished, not all the appplications and settings that were on the phone are back, I always have to look for the missing applications, and enter the registration, and this take time.

Why the update does not target just the OS files, but instead delete everything and the final restore does not installed all the applications that were installed on the phone before the update?

Most of the time apps and all are restored.

I have had the rare upgrade where apps are deleted. But that doesn't happen all of the time.

Well, since I have a Blackberry and install new OS updates, I always have that problem, and it just happened now updating my 9860, about 5 apps were deleted from the phone and I have to install them with bbsak.

Blackberry developers should think about that problem.

which apps are we talking about?

yes the register of apps is a pain, this is to make sure they are not pirated.

Can you list them, instead of just indicting all app developers across the board?

Like Live cams IP. I had this app on the phone before the upgrade, and now I can not download from the app world because it is not there.

And some others applications that I use before on my previous phones, 9810, 9500, 9550, 9800 and now 9860. Some of this app are not for my new phone but they work without a problem, but BB decide to remove them.

Things like that, because I use only applications downloaded from app world. What is the problem with that?
