New phone, old OS? Torch 9800

I bought a new Torch 9800 about 2-3 months ago from a licensed dealer.

Today I was checking my iOS and noticed it was 6.0.0.570.

I also noticed that iOS 7 was released a few months before I bought my phone.

I was wondering if there is any way to update this iOS?

I found a few topics asking this question, but this was all concerning phones bought before iOS 7 was released.

So is there any way to update this or am I stuck with iOS 6:smileysad:?

There is no such thing as iOS for a BlackBerry smartphone.

the 9800 is only a BlackBerry OS 6 device

Good one:smileyhappy:
Do you know if the torch 9800 is AR capable?
I would like it if my phone could use the function of Wikitude that uses a digital compass..

Re: New phone, old OS? Torch 9800

smartphones running BlackBerry OS 6 do not support the Augmented Reality view, which requires specific hardware features available in BlackBerry 7 based smartphones

Re: New phone, old OS? Torch 9800

dont forget to look into future devices too, you might want to wait a lil bit for the right one

research it well, i spent days on figuring which model I wanted when I had my 9800.
