help!

6 months ago i was able to use my father's phone, connect to the internet, do facebook and stuffs..but he went abroad and took phone with him..and then now he gave it to me..and now it isn't working...IP adress says 0.0.0.0 even though the wifi says "you're device is already conncected to [insert wifi name here]"

also, whenever i log into facebook via web or fb application it says "you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application, please connect to a Wi-fi network or contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan."  and which i dont intend to upgrade data plan since i have wifi in my house.

also, whenver i click APP WORLD, it says "the data service not operational."

help asap! thank you!

What SIM do you use? If you changed the SIM, you need BIS on your SIM/carrier.

BIS means BlackBerry Internet Service. It's a service that will be provisioned in your SIM card by your mobile service provider. Just ask your mobile service provider to provide BIS data plan.
