I had bought the 'Blackberry Torch 9860' on 20 April
2012 on the name of Neha Singh from Spice HotSpot, Shop no.
3&4, Pocket - 4, Sector -3, Rohini, New Delhi,india.
Within a week's time, no voice-sound could be heard on incoming & outgoing
calls. I shared the same with the existing Blackberry users and they
suggested me to do hard-boot (by removing SIM / battery) to resolve the
issue. It works for three days and then the same problem occurs.
On 9 May 2012, I visited one of your service centre in Pitampua, Delhi.
They have updated the software and again it works for three days before the
On 30 May 2012, I visited another service centre in Sector - 18, Noida with
the same issue. I have waited for 10 days and again the problem remains
On 4 June 2012, I visited the same service centre in Sector - 18, Noida with
a request for the replacement of the handset. They have given me the manager
number to discuss my concern. I am trying his number and he is not picking
up the phone and when I spoke to the service center they denied my request
of phone replacement.
I would request you to kindly look into this issue and arrange the
replacement of the handset.
It is quite strange that we have not received any positive response either from your end or your authorised service centre.
It would be great if you can let me know how soon my problem will get rectify because such kind of inconvinience is not expected from such a trusted brand.
Thanks & Regards,

Perhaps you did not understand the Ts and Cs of this site when you were presented with them upon your signup here. This site IS NOT a formal channel for any communications with RIM. Rather, this site is a user-to-user community of volunteers who try to help out other kind souls to the best of their abilities. As such, your query cannot be addressed here as no one here has any official capacity to deal with it.
Your escalation path remains as it is...via your service provider, authorized reseller, service center, and (last resort) local governmental consumer protection agencies. Unfortunately, our site here is full of reports just like yours, but sadly there's nothing the volunteers here can do about it.
