She is at the AT&T store now, i think they are doing that master reset, whether they helped her back up prior to resetting is unknown to me, we will just have to see.  Thanks alot Krypto, and thanks to you as well JSanders!

But believe , me, there are LOTS of people who do have time to play games on forums, who have picked up someone else's BlackBerry.. their ex-girlfriend's, their father's etc., and you would not believe the number of times it finally comes out from the person posting in the forums "Alright, yes it's my boyfriend's BlackBerry and I just want to get past the password to see who he's chatting with" or something like that.

So, when you said you or she didn't even know there was  sliding keyboard (there are pictures on the box!) it really raises questions in my mind.
