Password Lock Keeper

I use the password keeper lock app on my blackberry.  Today, every time I try to open it the screen goes back and it locks my blackberry.  I turned it off, rebooted, nothing works.  I need to get in there - what do I do?

Re: Password Lock Keeper

Is this the native Password Keep app?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

Re: Password Lock Keeper

Thank you.  I tried that last night; and again just now - no luck.  When I try to open the passwork lock app, the screen goes black, and when I press any key, it takes me to my home page with the lock on password to enter (locks my bb).  I will connect my bb to the computer, do a back up and see if there's an update available to download - that's my next option that I can think of.

Re: Password Lock Keeper

I connected with the laptop; did a full back-up (as I do weekly) and there were no updates or anything new to upgrade; still can't open the pasword lock.  I'm starting to panic.

Re: Password Lock Keeper

Tell me clearly what app this is?

I asked above.

Re: Password Lock Keeper

It's called Password Lock (it saves all your passwords; and you need to put in a password to open it); it won't let me get to the part where I enter a password; as soon as I click on it, it turns the screen black and when I exit out, it brings me back to the home page with the regular blackberry password lock page on it.

Re: Password Lock Keeper

Look at your options > Device > Advanced > Application management.

Scroll to that application, who is the developer of that application?
