Phone Dead?

Hi all.... About once a week my phone seems to die. It won't turn on even when plugged in to recharge in an outlet or via computer. I need to pull the battery and let it reboot. Typically that works but today it will only be available for approximately 5  minutes before going dead again. Any suggestions, advice, assistance?

First, let's assume it's the battery.  Try to find another battery, recharge it elsewhere then insert it in your phone.


If that's not the issue, let's assume it's the OS.  Reloading the OS might help.  To do this, plug your phone in to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once your phone has connected to the software, click Device at the top of the software then Restore.  Choose the most recent restore point and load it.

please check your battery

check your phone battery ,may be its looosen...

or take a phone software version update ...its really work as per my opinion Smiley Happy

Thank you both for your responses. I have tried the battery, no luck. I even went so far as to reset the berry to factory specs, again no luck. :-(


I have resorted to using my old curve and will upgrade to another phone in May.  I appreciate your efforts.
