Phone stuck in SOS mode

My phone is stuck in SOS mode i get some signal when I enter large citys such as London or Cheltenham but none in my area. It seems as if i get signal and then it switches to SOS mode. The sim works in my other phones but not my Blackberry. Any help would be appreciated

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

 

This KB might have something useful:

  • KB03448 Network status indicator shows "SOS" on the BlackBerry smartphone

 

Otherwise, you should talk to Vodafone...given what you describe, something could be defective with your Torch. And all warranty service is provided by the seller (to you) of the BlackBerry.
