I hope this is a very easy answer, but so far I can't find it anywhere.
Simply: When I call someone, or someone calls me - my phone "vibrates" once when the connection is made. i.e. right as someone would be saying "hello" it vibrates. I assume it does this to let me know it has made a connection (also does this when I hit someone's voicemail) but on the other end, people keep asking me "what is that noise?". I'd like to turn it off, and I cannot find the option anywhere.

Hi. Did you solve this by any chance?
I have reposted today as I have same issue - spoils an otherwise great phone. Blackberry really should sort this.

Hi. I've deleted all the non standard apps and the problem has gone.
Just a thought but do you have any of the listed apps yourself - obviously if there is a common denominator we will have found the culprit.
FYI - Facebook, Ebay, Yahoo Finance, & Twiiter are all back on with no adverse effects. Eventially I'll find the one that caused the issue. Its a bit of pain reloading each one then testing it

Hi. All replies have helped. Thank you.
The problem is gone - I deleted all my apps. I didn't download the "vibrate on answer" app at any time and it wasn't on my phone. At the moment cannot say which app caused the issue but it must have been one of them. I'm just glad it doesn't do it any more.

No. The problem app for me was "Mobile Assistant". Reinstalled it & vibration started again. However in settings in the app itself this can be turned off. Mad at myself for not seeing that in the first place but that's life.
Thanks for your help.
