I downloaded a free program onto my laptop then connected this to my BB Torch and then did the scan.

Result was 0 files found.

How would a recovery program with a MicroSD adapter be different.

Sorry if I'm being a bit slow!

because with an adapter with a PC can directly access the cards sub file system which via the device you can not
